I'm going to send the link for this forum to a friend of mine at RMC so that they can at least get in on the act, feel sorry for the poor little loves.

Do not start me on RMC!!!

The other night we had almost a full house, which meant 1 Watch Manager, and 3 Crew Managers. Only one of the Crew Managers is ALP trained the other two are FRU.

The day before it showed on Stars a Crew Manager out to H35 Tooting.
So first night duty about 10 past six, sitting in the watchroom filling out my BA log book  the phone rings, dutyman passes it over to me “its for you guv RMC”

Now this is gospel the geezer at the other end of the line tells me not to send out the ALP Crew Manager to Tooting as they don’t have any spare ALP Crew Managers to send in to ride our ALP ( for those of you that do not know Tooting has a Pump Ladder and Pump only )  I tell him that I was not going to send out the ALP Crew Manager but one of the others, to which he replies “just wanted to make sure you knew what you were doing and not sending out the ALP guy”.

Still not sure if this is a wind up or RMC have totally lost the plot
