Damm

Looking like its the Fire engine's fault, seemed very fast for a crossing like that.

Some of the comments on Youtube are saying the driver of the silver car has died. First impression looks like the Engines fault, but surely there must be more to it....?

Yes, sadly it turned out to be a fatal with one of the cars occupants passing away a few days later.

Man dies after fire engine crash

A man has died in hospital nearly a month after a crash in Luton involving a fire engine.

The appliance was answering a 999 call when it was involved in a collision with a car at a set of traffic lights on 11 September.

The car was flipped on to its side and shunted against the wall of a pub in Chapel Street, injuring a man, woman and three young girls.

The man died at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital on Tuesday evening.

The driver of a taxi was also injured in the accident.

In all 11 people were taken by ambulance to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
