The London Fire Brigade has an extensive collection of over 300,000 images and photographs which follow the development of the LFB since the late nineteenth century to the present day. Some of these pictures are now available to buy online, including images of historical events like World War II, major fires and incidents, fire engines and appliances, firefighting equipment, uniforms, and other fire related images. More images will be added on a regular basis, so please come back and browse through the collection.
Promoted Images

The LFB has moved to new Headquarters after 70 years at our Lambeth HQ on the Albert Embankment, London. To commemorate the move we have put together a collection of images taken over the years in the Promoted Images area.

LFB images are subject to copyright; see our Terms and Conditions for use below.

LFB’s official web site can be found at www.london-fire.gov.uk. The site has information about the brigade including press releases and useful fire safety advice.
