Now, now ladies, you'll only give yourself a hernia. I do think however we should fly the country's flag, how the hell can that offend anyone?

We should also take back the St George cross back from the racists and football hooligans and fly it proud (I'm white, English and proud!! it doesn't make me racist) and it make me mad to have people accuse me off it cos I fly MY flag.

There you go, off the soap box.

Would just like to say to the managers that you tell us to be reasonable and understand this and that. You tell us to be professional and have pride in the job, which ordinarily we all on the stations do, so it comes as no surprise that the new appliances come with no badges and not even the name of the Brigade, thanks, something to be really proud in

The new 'LFB' branding and badge is now being applied to the fleet as and when they go in for servicing.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree there, I think it looks better than when they were plain and boring. BUT it's not a mark on the traditional London Fire Brigade crest and the original lettering.

Wow... I read this whole thing.... thats INSANELY depressing, stupid, and ridiculous.

I could plainly see these issues you guys are discussing (minorities taking control) from my various visits.... but not being able to fly a FLAG?! What the heck? And no badges? And apparently the logos you get on your engines are pathetic?

Like a few of you said... thats the one thing the US has got... pride...

Im going to get you guys some photos of some of the INSANE appliances at my local fire brigade... big numbers... logos... Call 911... U.S. flags...

Its called GIVING CREDIT, WHERE CREDIT IS DUE. AND YOU GUYS DESERVE THAT CREDIT!!!

Thats for being an inspiration with regards to NOT BACKING DOWN!

The badge looks like its off a toy fire engine, and we now have our web address splashed over the appliance along with a free phone number. It looks pants and a joke! but thats my view.
