Are they the one's that always turn up last?
Blaze Bear

Yep,

But they look good when they do

They work a 12 hour shift if I remember correctly. No thanks.

CBRN RRT Shifts

The CBRN RRT have not been on 12 hour shifts for well over a year now just for your information. They follow the same 4 watch system and 9 hour day and 15 hour night shifts.
BlazingPalace

Did they not change their shift pattern from 2 12 hours to the same as us when the rapid response team was split up and no longer formed of memebers from the MPS and LAS?
Olly82

Once the LAS and MPS left and formed there own CBRN responce teams. (Guardian 80 DCU for MPS) (HART for LAS) the LFB CBRN team went back to the same shifts as the rest of the brigade. :)

Magic.

All it needs for them now, is NOT to work out of the big house, and I'm their man . . . .

There's more chance of Birchy finishing the Knowledge.

There are a load of people at STC doing CBRN training as we speak, they are going to use them as some sort of pool incase of something big. Not sure if they are just using FRU qualified people at the moment but they have an advantage of already being DIMM and decon trained.

What do you want to know, I'm not really up on the CBRN (RRT) but I'm sure someone on here knows more than me....

Oi stop the giggling

really smudger you need to get out more!!
Blaze Bear

Hey Smudger,

You are going to love me, and owe me a pint. As you and your team are line two and not USAR you can order the line rescue boots, they look like Hi-Tec magnums.

They are on the system and are for line rescue work
BlazingPalace

Thanks !! I can see it now tonight at work, can I order these please.
Blaze Bear

They are part of your Line PPE so the SM or above can't knock you back on this, the only thing is if your are USAR and have the USAR boots you can't order the line ones
BlazingPalace

Great !! Something else for the non mobile special’s to wear around the station along with their fleeces.

Still there is a lot of stair up to the mess / TV room from the appliance bay.
smudger22

There's always someone with a little glint of green in their eye isn't there?
Sorry Sir, I'll have to order something else totally useless

Unlike the Fleeces sir, the boots are for line ops and not to wear round the station. If it makes the lazy buggers on the L & PL feel non special then thats just a bonus
