Roy GeorgeI attended the funeral of former Station Commander, Roy George yesterday. It was a fine sending off for a fine man. I am happy to say that after forming the Guard of Honour, I, along with a load of other firemen, had to stand outside the chapel for the service as there was no room left inside.
Goodbye Roy, You'll be missed.

Nice to see the tradition of 'down the pub' after a funeral still goes on.
I think it's a good way to talk about old commrades and send them off with a smile.
