Manor Park – fire in bar/nightclub30 May 2009
Eight fire engines and around 40 firefighters dealt with a blaze in a bar/nightclub on Romford Road, Manor Park, in the early hours of this morning.
The building was severely damaged by the fire.
The Brigade was called at 0031 and the fire was under control by 0345. At the height of the blaze, crews from Romford, Leytonstone, Bow, Stratford, Greenwich, Plaistow, East Ham, Dagenham and Ilford were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
