London Fire Brigade Parachute TeamThe London Fire Brigade Parachute Team is unique in many ways. Its members are all part of the Fire Service and are drawn from both uniformed and non-uniformed departments. Each person volunteers their time and effort which has enabled the Team to become much sought after in recent years.The Team was formed in 1987 and our member now number over twenty. All are trained in freefall parachuting and only after a parachutist has made in excess of 200 descents is that person allowed to join his colleagues in the air.
