I don't believe it!

Driving past East Greenwich fire station, I was shocked to find that they are flying the union jack!!

How weird to see a British flag being flown in Britain!! :shock:

Shouldn't they have been classed as racist by now? lol.

Yes one of the few stations that do. A real shame that we actually notice these things as unusual.

Personally i think all stations in london should fly the Union Jack.

Other stations should follow in the footsteps of East Greenwich but then the Lfb will be branded racist and we dont want that do we!

Anyone see the sarcasm there

Sorry to be pedantic but the flag is called 'The Union Flag' but I am glad it is being flown and it should be flown from all fire stations.

I always thought that there was strict rules on flying the Union Flag ie only when the reigning monarch allows, official birthdays, St Georges day and other occasion as allowed, to fly the flag at other times is considered an insult to the monarch but I am sure someone will be able to put me right.
