Hep B vaccinations

Does anyone know if the brigade now pays for Hep B vaccinations?

I have just been to my docs as I needed to have the blood test to see if my levels are still up and I have been told I will have to pay for it now.  They said its only really NHS staff that get it free and the rest have to pay and try to get it back from your employer.

I don’t really mind as its something that’s defo worth having but its £35 for the blood test then £35 pound for the injections so if you were starting from scratch it would cost you 3 x injections then a blood test £140.

Yes mate, that's right.
Your GP can do it through the NHS (for free) if you can convince them that you are in the high risk group, other than that, you will have to pay for it and try to get it back through the brigade.
Definately worth getting done though.
