Heard a rumourWont affect too many here but gonna be a killer for some, in January they are gonna take away the ROTA day for people doing a 9 day fortnight 
Now this doesn't seem a great deal to most firefighters but for me it means 25 LESS days off a year and what are they gonna give us? half an hour off a day or change the lunch break.
Now the funny thing is, how the hell do they think they're gonna get anybody in training ever again 
These penny pinching w*****s are gonna be the death of me

Its ok, I've got my 'range card' marked and all distances plotted from the top of the tower

But hold on a minute. If you are on a 9 day fortnight you get FULL pay which includes shift allowance for not doing shifts

Yea but we do the same hours and don't get to sleep for 28 of them

Blaze having been to STC many times this year I didn't realise that trainers actually do 9 days in a fortnight as it is
