Previously I was employed 34 years at The Indianapolis News as a reporter and photographer.Currently I own and 1927 Magirus TL (formerly Gary Indiana Fire Department) and recently acquired from an apparatus collector a 1940 Dennis Merryweather TL, a former London Fire Brigade appliance. You should have a look at Euston's website, they might like a photo of it now as they may have an old photo of it then (to compare). It's probably in better nick now to be fair. Ian |

First let me welcome you to the site, very cool to see where our old appliance's go to after they retire :D Euston was having a few problems with the site (I believe) so that may be why they haven't posted it. As a company the LFB doesn't really like the way we setup web sites and forums dedicated to our job and the stations we are at, I have no idea why this is because the publicity could be great. Rob |
