Rom Ridley, currently in Ops Planning and involved in FRU policy (he knows nothing of another 4 FRU's by the way); formerly of Battersea Red Watch and White Watch; formerly of New Malden White Watch, retires tomorrow.
His leaving do will be on 11 July in the Escape pub (formerly the Glodsmiths arms).
I urge anyone that knows him to attend. Tickets are £7.00 per head from Dave Waterman at Battersea Blue Watch or from Leroy Hough in Ops Planning, Union St.
Rom is truly one of the good blokes. Please make his leaving an event to remember because this job will be a poorer place for his absence.
