Hi guys,
Just spoke to the nice people at 'the positive action group'/recruitment and they said (just to confirm)
1. Web site will be open to register from 29th Sept - 3rd Oct inclusive. You WILL need an internet connection and an Email address to register and get an application form
2. Everybody who registers’ within those dates WILL get an application form, the application form will be sent out as an computer document and will need to be returned via the internet.
3. The web site (for those who don't know or can't be bothered to look it up) is www.london-fire.gov.uk
Good luck to everyone that goes for it.
Rob

I thought that was a weird name for recruiting myself, unless the brigade has tried to save money by combining both departments
From what I've been told EVERYONE who logs on and requests a application form between those dates will get one, not sure of the process after that

Very cynical GBC,
Having worked at STC for the last two years, i can say that the vast majority of Trainee Firefighters passing through in that time have been White males.
Also the Positive action team do hold regular open days at STC, where they get candidates (Mainly female) to undertake a number of test, and having spoken to people in the team, very few of them go onto apply.
