Tried to reply to the "Does anybody have any photos of this appliance" (the Land Rover at Biggin Hill). Yes, a friend of mine takes loads of photos and sent them to me, whoever wanted them let me know and I'll pass them on.

As a diamond, I did a night standby there. We got three shouts and I was told I was never allowed to go back

That's one of our's?

Looks like it belongs to the private fire brigade at the nearby Biggin Hill Airport.

So is this contraption available for mobilisation to any off road job? It would have been handy the other year for the annual burning of Wanstead flats.

Secondly, have the replaced a 'proper' PL with this thing? That's a dodgy road to go down.
