My Name is Ricardo Fernandes, i'm applying to the LFB at the moment, i'm whaiting for the interview, will be in February :) I served as a firefighter in portugal for 15 years, hope the interview it's not to dificult.
Anyone can give some tips about the interview? More or less witch type of questions they do or what they expect from us. Any tip would be fantastic, i really want to become a London Firefighter :)

Hello and welcome mate. To be honest, I/we don't know what questions they ask as the interviews aren't conducted by LFB personel anymore. They are given set questions to ask and are looking for specific answers, so if I/we were to tell you what we thought they would ask and it turned out to be wrong then you wouldn't be very happy for failing it.

The interview is the hardest part of selection in my honest opinion, purely because they have their own way of doing it.

Best of luck though.

Hi,

There's loads about the interview and application process on here:
www.fireservice.co.uk in the recruitment section.

As far as im aware it's all based around the PQAs (Personal Qualities and Attributes) which you filled out on your application form.

Good luck

Tom
