Greetings: I reside across the pond and work for the Indianapolis Fire Department as the assistant to the Public Information Officer. Previously I was employed 34 years at The Indianapolis News as a reporter and photographer.
Currently I own and 1927 Magirus TL (formerly Gary Indiana Fire Department) and recently acquired from an apparatus collector a 1940 Dennis Merryweather TL, a former London Fire Brigade appliance. It was assigned to the Euston Station. Rodger

Hi Rodger,
You should have a look at Euston's website, they might like a photo of it now as they may have an old photo of it then (to compare). It's probably in better nick now to be fair.
Ian

Hi Roger,
First let me welcome you to the site, very cool to see where our old appliance's go to after they retire :D
Euston was having a few problems with the site (I believe) so that may be why they haven't posted it. As a company the LFB doesn't really like the way we setup web sites and forums dedicated to our job and the stations we are at, I have no idea why this is because the publicity could be great.
